Furnished or Unfurnished?
In our experience, the preference is generally for furnished accommodation and we would particularly recommend this option for first time landlords. Good quality, well equipped, furnished properties appeal to most types of tenants, particularly corporate tenants. If possible, we would recommend a degree of landlord flexibility to avoid unnecessary void periods. Furnished property will need everything provided so that tenants can move in with just personal belongings. Unfurnished accommodation should include carpets, curtains and we recommend as a minimum basic kitchen appliances.
